Wheels are, no bend in them like the plastic. Much easier to move over grass.

    Bearings don't last

I purchased a pair of these in August 2021 because they were the largest ones in my local store with a stock count higher than 1, and Torin responded to my email inquiring about the speed rating on the front wheels on a 2-ton jack with "walking speed"--which kind of explains the damage those jack wheels did to the brand new asphalt on our street at the time. I used these to fabricate some training wheels for my 7-year-old, who is too big for bicycles that come with them (I'm 5'6" and she comes up to my chin), and too heavy (3/4 my weight) for the training wheel kits sold at the store, so I welded some out of steel tubing from an above-ground pool ladder that my neighbours were throwing away, some 1/2-inch bolts, washers and nuts that were welded inside the tubing, and torqued them together such that the inner washers were held against just the bearings' centre shafts at 86 lb-ft, with fender washers covering the wheel flanges at a distance of 1/16 inch. The wheels rolled, but only if I moved them by hand or if she was riding downhill; she didn't have the physical strength to pedal uphill with so much drag on the training wheels. I don't hear or feel any clicking in the bearings, but it's as if they were packed with glue instead of grease, and since they don't have a grease nipple and are sealed tight from the factory, I don't have any way to grease them. While they certainly experienced a higher than rated load, the bearings were stiff from the start, and they don't roll easily. Neither of the two wheels are damaged, and the bearings still turn smoothly, but it's incredibly difficult to make the wheels roll on the bearings. I finally took them off in April 2022 when my daughter fell over while riding and the tubing on one side snapped. Both wheels still turn, still with the same smooth motion but approaching infinite inertia. If I were to put these on one of my lawnmowers, I feel like it would be more difficult to push than if I took all the wheels off. I'll give it two stars for the robust construction, the complete lack of rust even after overwintering in a garage, and the fact that they're still smooth rolling after a shock load of over 150% of the rated load, but a 0 rating for how stiff the bearings are even when brand new. I cannot recommend these for even the lightest duty. If the bearings were serviceable/replaceable, it would be a much better product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Good quality

It's a great quality wheel for the price. It'll probably last for a really long time before needing replacement.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
