Q: Does this product contain UV blockers? I am planning on using it on an outdoor wooden sculpture which has been painted with wood dye. I don"t want the colours to fade underneath this varnish. Thanks

Q: I am looking for a true clear varnish. I have bought a few that added a gloden tint. I would be applying in to stained and painted wood over white vinyl lettering. Is this a recommended product for such use?

A: I have used it over stain and I like it for that made some furniture, stained and burned wood and used the spar varnish over that looks awesome

A: We would not suggest thinning this product. It does not have a thick consistency to begin with and thinning it would risk altering the quality of the product.

Q: Can I use it for indoor basement stairs?

A: We would not recommend this product be used for indoor basement stairs. This product is very glossy and shiny. The product can become slippery when wet or even just when a person is going down the stairs a little too fast. This product is meant much more for outdoor use on items such as wooden furniture, boats, etc. We would recommend 0489709 Armor Coat 3.7 L Latex Porch and Floor Paint.
