    worked as advertised

My BBQ door hinge pin broke off and since it is 100% plastic I figured I would need a new door, but I gave these epoxy pellets a try. It was easy to fill in the large area around the pin and place the pin back where it belonged with the extra reinforcement. After it cured I sanded off a little so the door would fit and it has been perfect

    Didn't Hold

I glued a toilet overflow pipe with plumbing epoxy three years ago. It needed re-gluing and that epoxy is discontinued, so I used this product. It says it's for pipes, and that it fixes leaks, so I expected it to work. While applying it it wasn't adhering very well to the dry surfaces, but I squeezed it into the joint and let it set several hours (package doesn't say how long cure takes.) Next morning the pipe fell right off. There was no trace of the epoxy on one surface, and it peeled right off the other (still soft.) I bought a different cement, a thick liquid epoxy this time, and it was solid in under 30 minutes, holding well.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: How long do I have to wait to turn the water back on once I have applied this epoxy adhesive pellet

    1 Answer
    • A: There are many variables that affect the efficacy and cure time of epoxy putty ( temperature , humidity , kneading ). In general one should wait 24 hours . Please adhere to the following: • Make sure the repair surface is clean and dry • Take Putty Pellet and hand knead /mix it well , until it is a uniform color • Ideally the mixed putty should be somewhat warm from vigorous kneading • Apply generously to area being patched • Wait 24 hours for a full cure Please call 1-884-332-3533 for any further questions.
