This toilet frame is well made, assembles easily and is very, very sturdy. Since it mounts directly to the toilet itself through the "lid holes", there is no shifting of the assembly whatsoever AND the original toilet seat remains in place. It looked 'heavy duty' in the photo and lived up to its looks when it was put together and in hand. Excellent.

Practical and solid, installs easily

Practical and, if your toilet is high enough not to need a raised seat, the best option. It allows guests and family to use the toilet also, because the Toilet Safety Rails let you to use your own seat normally. The unit is super easy to install and solid. I highly recomnend this product.

Q: Can 1 side be removed and use only 1 side?

A: It is possible but may cause the seat to rest unevenly on the toilet rim. If that happens you will need a shim to make it even. If your toilet seat sits off the toilet rim a bit (with little knob like bumps) then it should be fine. Both sides snap into place into one of two positions so that the width is somewhat modifiable.

Q: Hi There, the details state that this raises the toilet seat by 4 inches, is this correct?? It does not look like the toilet seat is raised that high in the photo. Please advise, Thanks

A: This product does not raise the toilet seat. It provides a good method to keep a person from falling off the seat and a means to push yourself into a standing position. I personally prefer this product to the raised toilet seat.

Q: Does it pinch the skin between the the rim of the toilet seat.

A: There is no risk of pinching as the pads of the toilet safety rail sit on the toilet porcelain themselves and the toilet seat comes down overtop like normal. There is spacing between the bowl and the seat for the pads of the product to provide the stability.
