this product isn't very efficient, either the ph levels in my area are really high or this stuff doesn't work. used half a bottle and barely moved the needle

Q: We just refilled our hot tub after draining and the ph is high this product says to repeat every 15 mins. How long should I expect to have to do this to bring the ph down. I think last night I added it at least 5 times and today now once

A: Hi, Your pH level must be very high. Also if your total alaklinity is high in can have an influence. Make sure you follow the dosage. 15g/ 1000l will lower the pH by 0.5. You should see the result within the next 30 minutes/ 1 hour. If your pH is very high it will take several additions of pH minus to lower your level. Thank you

Q: How much of the Spa Minus should I use per 1000L? The bottle says to use 15g but the measuring cup is in mL. Tried calling 1-877-8CT-POOL and no one answered.

A: Please be advised that 1g is equivalent to 1 mL for our products. So you measure out 15mL for 15g.
