this is so fantastic to take to family potlucks ,,,you bake and heat and bring hot or you make a cold dessert and freeze the gel pack and you have a perfectly cool dessert

Q: How hot can the pan be when you put it in the carrier?

A: Hot food should be at the appropriate temperature when placed in the carrier. We recommend waiting 10 minutes after removing your ovenware from the oven before placing the cover on the dish and into the tote. Liquid from an over-filled dish may leak. The insulated carrier should be held as level as possible during transporting.
