If u like running water, this isn't for you.

A faucet where water stops coming out is like living in a home without indoor plumbing. As a contractor, I purchased this faucet and installed it. Installation is not as easy as most, but when it was finished, the faucet was great. Until it wasn't. The faucet head, over time, cloggs up do to normal water deposits. American Standard replaced the ENTIRE faucet for me about 1 1/2 years after the initial installation, now about 2 years later, it is clogged again. We are retrieving water from the back yard hose bib for the kitchen sink. Really? in 2023!? I called again and was met with roadblocks to getting this fixed. The CS rep said, "Yes, we know it can be a problem with hard water." First, hard water exists in almost ALL of the USA. Second, why would you design something you KNOW has a high failure rate? Why isn't there a "pre filter" on this faucet then?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Consumer Connection Team
Hi Chuck, Thank you for your review as it is very important to us. We apologize for the issue you're experiencing with your Beale faucet as well as the inconvenience it has caused. If the faucet is clogged due to sediment or debris, there are indeed a couple of filter screens that are located in the supply lines at the connection that you can check. This faucet also comes with a key that can be used to remove the aerator so that it can be cleaned. If you would like to troubleshoot or further discuss this issue with an advisor, please contact us directly by visiting www.americanstandard-us.com and clicking on the Contact Us link that is located at the bottom of our home page or by calling in at 1-855-815-0004 M-F 8am-7pm EST. Sincerely, Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team

Very nice looking junk.

This faucet was used in the updated kitchen of our newly purchase home. We were thrilled with hands-free technology. Turns out, this product is the Mercedes/BMW of faucets; pretty and expensive, but ultimately junk and a hassle. Water-flow from the nozzle started slowing down, then buzzing, then squeaking, now nothing. The irony of this faucet is that it went from hands-free to having to squeeze it with one hand at all times.

No, I do not recommend this product.

water comes out slow

When I wave my hand the water comes out extremely slowly. When I turn the faucet off manually then right back on water comes out normally. Faucet has been working perfectly for 3 years now. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, I recommend this product.

Consumer Connections
Hello Mike, I am sorry to hear of your experience with both your faucet and in contacting us. If the faucet is dripping in auto mode, it is most likely debris has worked its way into the solenoid and is preventing it from closing fully. Did you ensure that the pre-filters are installed at the hot and cold inlet supply hoses to the faucet to filter any debris? If you have not gotten through on the phones (Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm EST - 1-855-836-9615) but have sent an email, an agent will get back to you as quickly as we can. You could also try the Live Chat option at www.americanstandard.ca as well.
