Nice looking rope cocker but not functional

Nice looking but does not work well with my Barnett 400 xp crossbow as the hooks are to narrow to fit on to the bolt string . Cannot stretch them out so basically useless for me .

Broke first use

I bought this yesterday, and when I went to uncock the bow the hook broke, dry firing my bow and hitting me full force on the thumb. Thumb isn’t broken ,but not sure about the damage to my bow

I bought this because one of the hooks on my Excalibur cocking aid broke, got home to try it out and the string is too long (could only pull up to the Guardian mechanism) so I tied a new knot to shorten it, as soon as it locked the cocking rope snapped. Salvaged the hooks to use with the Excalibur rope/handles. Disappointed CT doesn't carry the Excalibur rope cocking aid.
No, I do not recommend this product.
