Inconsistent data syncing issues

I bought this device from Canadian Tire in May 2023. I had always struggled to connect it to my phone and the online dashboard through Bluetooth, but I didn’t reach out for help until now. The data wouldn’t sync for over two hours. The dashboard kept showing my device as offline, even though it was connected to Wi-Fi (this is a known problem). Sometimes, the trigger light for radon status would not come on (resolved when I changed the batteries). Their support tried to troubleshoot, but couldn’t find anything wrong. Their engineers recommended that I buy a more expensive Airthings View Plus if I wanted my data to sync all the time. I don’t want to spend more money on Airthings. The Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program compared different radon measuring devices for consumers in Canada, and the results are available online. It turns out that there are better options available. I wish I had known about this study earlier.

Radon Readings

it seems to be a good unit for continuous monitoring as the reading do change a lot. The biggest issue I have is it is a USA made unit and sold in several countries with different upper limits of Radon. This unit is set for USA limits of 150 where Canada is 200 max. Our unit gives warning continuously due to the lower limit. Their help desk said I could write a program to over ride the settings. NOT ANY HELP THANK YOU. I suggested in their app to have a simple question asking what country you are in and this would set your upper limit. An update will work in the app. support your customers requirements.
