Airthings Wrecked Their Own Products!

I purchased this product because it offered the ability to automatically sync throughout the day, as elaborated by Airthings. However, Airthings has announced that they have suddenly disabled this functionality, so this product (I have purchased several of them to assist with radon monitoring, etc.) is no longer of use to me. I simply can't spend my day manually requesting updates via a phone app. They have suggested that I should now purchase additional devices, in an attempt to restore functionality, but that doesn't make sense, especially when they may change them, as well. I am hoping that Airthings will refund me for each of the several devices that served me so well until they removed basic functionality.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We’ve had two airthing waves for many years. They’re fantastic and still work well. Lots of info that helps us to ensure our home is as safe as it can be. I recently needed app support as I had to change my email address. Blown away by the speed and quality of that support. The company is terrific and I can’t recommend them enough.

sold an old used unit!

Picked this up at the Hebron Way Canadian Tire in St Johns NL today, the package was taped together.. But I was told that it was new and someone just inspected it.. Got it home and saw the batteries were already put in it.... and the batteries were fully corroded in place, i had to use a screwdriver to wedge them out .. Everything behind them is all corroded... This is ridiculous... paid full price for a used and damaged unit... now I'm worried all the corrosion inside this unit from the bad batteries are going to result in inaccurate readings... VERY unprofessional Canadian tire... there are higher quality items on marketplace then you are selling.. shame.

Mostly good, A little bit meh, .

i wish it had PM1 and PM2.5 readings. Price seems a little high but because it includes radon, probably makes sense. Connectivity issues with the hub. DEFINITELY doesn't go as far as the distance it says it does through a house. Good product overall. Definitely important to know some of the measurements. Seems just the right thing for a guest apartment.
