Q: Is the soldering flux water soluble ?
a year agoA: Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Nitroflux is not a water soluble flux and is petroleum based. However, they can both be used for the same application.

Q: Does this work well on brass sheet?
2 years agoA: I have only used the lead free solder on copper pipe and it worked well. As long as you use the proper flux I think it should work well on brass.

Q: Does this kit contain de soldering braid? Is there multicore solder n the kit?
12 years agoA: Worthington Cylinders does not currently sell desoldering braid, which is basically braided copper wire strands that are used to unsolder a joint. This application is typically used in electronics. With that being said, this is a plumbing kit and cored wire should never be used on plumbing applications. A simple answer would be no to both of your questions.
