	Flat collar	The most common type of collar, this simple design is available in a variety of materials and typically features a buckle or snap fastener.

Should my dog wear a collar or harness?

Both options come with pros and cons, but some breeds or personality types may benefit from one style more than the other. If you’re unsure, you can always ask your vet for advice.

How do I know what collar is right for my dog?

Measure around your dog’s neck and add 1 – 1.5 -in to find the correct collar size. When you’re measuring, make sure you can fit two fingers between your dog’s neck and the measuring tape to ensure a comfortable fit.

What type of leash is best for dogs?

Many pet parents own more than one leash to fit a variety of purposes and activities. A standard flat or round leash works well for everyday use, while retractable leashes are great when you can give your pup more space and freedom to roam.
