As a general rule, treats should never make up more than 10% of a dog’s daily calories.

How can I tell which treat my dog likes best?

The easiest way to know which treats your dog likes is to experiment with different types. Over the course of a few weeks or months, let your dog try a variety of options and note which treat they get most excited about. Alternatively, you could take a small piece of several treats and place them side by side on the floor. Let your dog sniff at their leisure and see which treat they gobble up with the most enthusiasm.

How often should I give my dog a treat?

Dogs should never receive more than at 10% of their daily calories in the form of treats. Always choose the appropriate size treats for your dog and follow the package for feeding frequency.
