How to remove a wax stain

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

STEP 1

Let wax dry

It’ll be easier to remove when it’s no longer hot.

STEP 2

Scrape with butter knife

Softly scrape off as much wax as you can.

STEP 3

Use brown paper bags

Place a plain paper bag on an ironing board. Put the wax stained area on top of the brown paper bag and then place a second bag on top.

STEP 4

Iron on lowest setting

Use your iron in a circular motion until the wax melts onto the bag.

STEP 5

Repeat until complete

A dark spot on the bag will indicate when the wax is being absorbed. When you see this, move the bags to a fresh section and repeat until no wax is left.
