How to undercoat your wheel wells for the season

During the winter months, wheel wells can turn into a rust zone. Want to undercoat your wheel wells for the winter season? Don’t worry – you’ve got this.

STEP 1

Undercoat your wheel wells with a Rubberized Rocker Guard spray

STEP 2

Prep the area to be sprayed

Remove all loose dirt and debris and wipe down with a high quality wax and grease remover.

STEP 3

Lightly scuff bare metal areas

Wipe down this area once more to remove any light dust.

STEP 4

Shake the can vigorously for at least 3 minutes

STEP 5

Spray with even flowing motions

Keep the undercoating can 12-16 inches away from the surface.

Apply 2-3 light coats

STEP 7

Allow each coat to dry off for 5-10 minutes before reapplying

Allow the undercoating to dry for a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 24 hours.
