Pressure washers give you 75% more pressure than a garden hose while using up to 80% less water. That saves you time and money. But which one is right for you?
Gas-powered pressure washers
If you are familiar with pressure washers and comfortable adding fuel, a gas-powered pressure washer is a great option. They’re very versatile, since you don’t require an electrical outlet. They also have the power to handle medium to heavy duty jobs, but if you’re skilled with controlling the flow, you can also use them for lighter jobs with different nozzles. Keep in mind that they do require regular maintenance.
Electric pressure washers are great for beginners, particularly for light to medium weight jobs, and they don’t require maintenance. They’re compact, lightweight, and convenient, providing you have access to an electrical outlet.
If you want a pressure washer to do light duty jobs, such as wash your car, clean off your patio furniture, or clean your lawn equipment, you’ll want a model that gives you around 1300 to 1700 psi.
Medium duty jobs
For medium duty jobs, such as cleaning your deck, fence, garage floor or driveway, a model that gives you around 1800 to 2000 psi is convenient.
Heavy duty jobs
If you’re got big jobs to do, like stripping old paint off a deck or cleaning the siding on your two-storey house, you’ll want a gas model with more than 2100 psi.
A foam blaster is extremely convenient when you’re using detergent with your pressure washer. It uses a combination of high-pressure water, air injection technology and detergent to provide thick foam. This helps to remove dirt and debris while reducing the chances of marring and scratching the surface. You can easily change the spray patterns, depending on what you’re cleaning, and switch to water when it’s time to rinse.
Dual on-board detergent tank
A dual on-board detergent tank with selection dial allows you to carry and store two specific types of detergent, such as a deck cleaner and a vehicle detergent, simultaneously on board your pressure washer. The selection dial lets you easily switch from one detergent type to the next without stopping.
Quick-connect and Project Pro® nozzles
Quick-connect and Project Pro® nozzles give you precise control and optimal cleaning with pre-defined spray patterns.
Turbo Nozzles and RotoScrub™ Wide Nozzles
Turbo Nozzles and RotoScrub™ Wide Nozzles give you a whirling pin-point spray in a circular pattern that helps you clean up to 40% faster than standard adjustable spray nozzles.
5-in-1 Project Dial
With a 5-in-1 Project Dial, you’ll never have to worry about searching for lost nozzles. Simply connect the dial to a quick connect wand and select the desirable nozzle angle for the cleaning job at hand.
