Can the Yardworks 48V battery be used for Mastercraft tools?
No. These tools only work with the Yardworks 48V battery. Batteries from other brands, including Mastercraft, only work with batteries designated for that particular brand.

Ensure the battery is charged. Battery pack may be too hot. Remove from unit and allow time for the battery pack to cool.
Does my tool come with a battery?
Yes. The products come ‘kitted’ which means you get tool and battery. With that said there is the option to buy ‘Tool Only’ SKUs that come without the battery for a lower cost (for consumers who already have a battery from previous purchase). Tool Only is clearly called out on the packaging.

What is the warranty for Mastercraft tools and batteries?
The warranty covers 3 years for tools and 2 years for batteries.
Do all Mastercraft 20V Max tools work with all Mastercraft 20V Max batteries?
Yes, they are all compatible. On the packaging side panel, the consumer can see a chart which shows them which batteries (aH) are recommended for optimal performance.
What is the difference between ah batteries?
Amp hours represent the capacity of the battery. Higher aH means higher capacity and therefore longer runtime.
How long does it take to charge a Mastercraft battery?
Depends on what charger you have, and the aH of your battery. The 2.0Ah will charge in 30-40 minutes, and the 4Ah will charge in 1 hr to 1 hr and 20 minutes.
