Be warned, have a backup plan to get in.

Product worked fine for about a year but then stopped working periodically. We replaced the batteries and it would work for a day or 2 and then lock us out again as it was non-responsive. Seems like a product issue, but since the warranty is only a year, Weiser refused to help in any way. I have a product similar product on another door that has worked for almost 20years. Can't believe they are making disposable locks now that need replacing on a yearly basis. If the product is designed to last longer, they should be repairing/replacing my lemon product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not for outside use

This door lock is totally useless in Canada for outside doors. There are two Small numbers per button. To select your number you have to toggle it. The buttons are spaced to close together. Can you imagine trying to enter your house or garage in winter. They Might be ok for an apartment building or office. Charlie.
