I just wrote a review, and I forgot to add that I use only 2 settings from this. Typhoon, and the one that is Full body with Typhoon which is very soft. I think that is the one where the water comes out from the outside holes and the big middle hole. I didn't like the more harsh settings because it is too strong, I think only one setting should be like that and leave the other to be a trickle type. I am surprised that the Water Saving Trickle is really a strong setting so I would not call that a trickle. I wish it did have a trickle or a pause but it doesn't. Pulsating massage is okay but maybe can be a bit stronger. But all in all this is a better shower head than the different brand I used for awhile and I always go back to waterpik because they have the best. I am happy with the two settings which are not basic types but more advanced, and the product is aesthetically pleasing.

Waterpik does make good showers and is why I stick to that brand

Firstly I like to stick with Waterpik brand. This one was a nightmare to install, because it definitely does need plumber's tape. Sorry Waterpik but not true what you say on your packages! All showers NEED that tape!! I thought I will try without the tape with this one, and the water just gushed right out from behind the shower attachment. I uninstalled and reinstalled hoping it doesn't crack or something but to no avail. I thought I would have to return this because it was back breaking trying to make it work. After putting in special white tape, it worked. I don't like how the shower head stays inclined towards the right, and I can't get it to sit right in the middle. If I manoeuvre the shower upwards, then the back will start leaking so have to be careful. I just work with it I guess because I was reluctant to return it. It has a setting that no other showerhead has and that is the Typhoon. I love it, it is like a soft acupuncture on my back. I also like the color which is mostly light cream which makes it easy to look at and in case any spiders hide around my shower, I would be able to spot them easily!

not bad for a little while...

PROS --It gave great water pressure, as the packaging promised. CONS --At just over a year (just after the Canadian Tire warrantee ended) this started to malfunction, and now at a year and a half, it needs to be replaced. Half of the settings no longer work, and some of them are spraying water out in directions that make them to messy to be used in our shower. --Removing the hand-held portion from the bracket is often difficult....I worry about it flexing the pipe as I struggle to remove it. --The way the bracket attaches give it limited adjustability, so hopefully you will like where it is aimed. If you have a shower caddy that hangs from the pipe coming out of the wall, you may have trouble with this aspect , as it may interfere with the hose. --I only found a few of the settings useful, and a couple are actually unpleasant. It lacks the setting where you can turn it to a trickle, so I have to turn the water off, as I cannot angle it away from me enough to get out of its spray.
No, I do not recommend this product.

We sincerely apologize for the difficulty you have encountered with the product. Mineral deposits in your water supply can cause the shower head to become clogged or generally dirty. This can result in a lower flow of water or a sense of needle like sprays as the holes are narrowed and cause water to spray in different directions. Additionally, mineralization can also affect the function of moving parts. Soak the showerhead in a ½ hot water, ½ white vinegar solution for 8 to 10 hours, submerged and face down. Then rinse it thoroughly under running water. You may use a soft toothbrush to clean the nozzles and face. For additional assistance, call us toll free at 1-888-226-3042 Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm Mountain time for warranty assistance.

I read the reviews here before I bought a replacement shower head.
Thanks to you all that shared your views, this made my decision easier. And yes its a great shower head. Great stream flow of water, without being overpowering and unlike the last one, runs quietly when on pulse and massage. The install was easy and the build quality looks and feels robust.
Can't beat the price, and even better when you get it on sale.

Q: Looking for shower and faucet in one I am looking for a shower and faucet in one so that we can change a tub into a shower.....do you sell one that we don't have to cut a whole in the tiles?

A: If you have an existing tub and shower faucet that you want to simply replace then any one of the models we have will fit your needs. If this is a new install than more than likely you will need to do plumbing behind the wall which should be done by a certified professional (i.e. plumber).
