Exceptional Quality

I purchased the Predator 8x42 a month ago for turkey season. This glass is unbelievably clear, the focus is quick and efficient and the eye relief covers help shield peripheral vision to darken the eyepiece and provide better clarity. I still have to apply my CAT crap coating, applied every few days, due to fogging on the outside eye lenses. So for anybody that puts out a good amount of heat (which is me), the lenses tend to fog. This is no different for my Leoupold, Swarovski and other quality glass. The illumination under extremely lowlight is unbelievable also. For the price, at this point, I put Steiner up there with my Leopoldo and Swarovski optics/glass. We will see how they hold up and if any issues arise, hopefully Steiner will provide that world class service expected in this price range. No reason to doubt they wont from my research. I would definitely recommend at this price point and will be purchasing future optics from Steiner as well.

Great for the cost

These bino's are very clear and easy to adjust. I however wear glasses and wish the raised rubber on the sides of the eye cup were not there or easily removed (not cut off)

Excellent birding optics

I attended a birding seminar and it was suggested I purchase 8x42 optics. I found that Steiner optics had excellent reviews so I purchased the Predator 8X42. What a difference in clarity and ease of focus.

Good quality, feels good in the hand. Only thing I don’t like is that the lenses fog up just bringing them to your face in cold conditions
