No batteries, but all is forgiven.

Bit of an IQ challenge to get it put together (eventually found no batteries were in the box) so had to stop and look up on YouTube what kind of batteries to get... and while it looks simple to line up the pieces of the "wand", one side the button is round, and the other is a rectangle. Instructions would have helped.
Nonetheless, this is an absolute game-changer for washing floors. Super easy, a bit expensive to re-purchase the pads, but still it's so superior to mop-and-pail I will never willingly go back to that.
