Poor design

I purchased four of these black outlet covers and four black wall plates. The Leviton plates I bought were standard wall plate sized. Reckoned all wall plates were standardised - not the case. Had to purchase four off sized wall plates (item 0527531). Annoying but whatever. Anyway, the plates that go with the coloured outlet covers do not have screws or holes for screws. Nothing clips or snaps on to anything. The plug from your lamp, computer, TV or whatever holds everything in place. No plug, the wall plate and outlet cover either just hang there or fall off. Nice idea just poorly constructed and not practical. Will try to return them and pay the extra buck for coloured outlets.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Wall plate does not fit over the colour change unit. Is there a different sized wall plate to be used?

A: You have to use a Renu wallplate, sku 0527531, with a renu colour change kit.
