Needed these a week after purchase

We had a heavy thunderstorm roll through a week after I purchased and installed these. We lost power for 3.5 hrs in the night and I had installed one on each level which gave us plenty of light to move about. Yes, it uses up one outlet per emergency light but I have them placed in a hall where nothing is permanently plugged in. I would have given it a 5 if both outlets could have been exposed.

We purchased one Garrison Wall Plate Emergency Light as part of our overall strategy for emergency home lighting - our town is notorious for power failures. There are several settings available on the product, including a night light, but we set it for power-outage light only. The wall plug keeps the unit fully charged at all times. Lo and behold the first night after we installed the Garrison Wall Plate Light we had a power failure and wow the Wall Plate lit up our main hallway. Next day I returned to CTC and bought six more of these fantastic units. One is now in each bathroom and at the bottom of every staircase in our house. I don't know how we managed before we had a bunch of Garrison Wall Plate Lights in our home.
