Everyone should have one

This is not the best stove for everyday use, but it's simple and it works very well for what it is. It's small and light enough to leave in the car or truck all winter as well and can be a real lifesaver in an emergency. It also makes a great little 'accompanying' stove for beside the barbecue or firepit - perfect for mushrooms or sauces. It's small and light and simple and affordable, and it's worth having one around just as a back up if nothing else.

Je possède ce petit réchaud depuis la crise du verglas de 1998. Il est polyvalent. Il sert de réchaud, d'éclairage et de chauffage. Il est sécuritaire et même s'il est renversé il ne représente aucun danger. Très économique, il consomme peu et il est relativement efficace. On peu s'approvisionner facilement en combustible partout au Canada. Je m'en sert au camping, au camp de chasse, en pique-nique et lors de panne de courant à la maison.

A: The fuel for the Magic Stove Kit is Magic Heat 2 Pack Refill (product # 0762104). 1 pack can burn up to 6 hours. Weather conditions and elevation can affect burn time. The base will heat up and as it will be on the ice there is a potential to melt through it. Please contact your local Canadian Tire store to determine the price and if they currently have this product in stock.
