Only works with certain devices

It's a great theory, but it plays havoc with my cell phone. Probably the phone and not the product but I can't say for sure.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not Working

I tried, my wife LG phone, my Samsung Phone, my Mini iPad, my go pro. Nothing work. I was on a 3 day canoe trip. We never been able to charge anything. Even with the 12Volt plug. It saw the device is charging, but when you come back 4 hours later, I did not gain any % of charge.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Worth the try

Bought this for charging my phones to keep contact. Due to going to camp is not just a drive away..its completly off grid. With disapointment I was very much hoping for this solar to pull through for me as I was almost stuck at camp. Thankfully survival skills as a child did not come with phones nor gadgets lol but it was worth the try..

Trickle Charging

I lay this at the rear window of the car with a 10ft USB cable and charge my 10000mah powerbanks with it. It’s a trickle charger so I wouldn’t expect to charge my phone but powerbanks will take in minuscule charges from it to THEN charge my phone at 2.1A I’m thinking of upgrading to the 20W panel if money is ever in my favour soon. Maybe even the 8-1 connector

NOT worth the money

I had bought this product to take on a fishing with my dad on one of his old trap lines 50 miles in the forest in Northern Ontario. I had tested it to charge my phone with the USB cable on a previous camping trip and it worked Ok. On this trip we needed it to charge a Sat phone we had rented in order to keep in touch with my mother. Had to use the 12 volt port to do so, it sat on a rock face exposed to the sun for 8 hours and never charged the phone. Also needed it to charge my fathers battery pack for his CPAP machine...no go... NOT impressed ...I have plenty of small battery packs to charge my phone and didn't need to pay 50$ for those. Useless piece of kit absolutely useless

No, I do not recommend this product.

  • A: Your devices have protection from over charging built in. Cell phones, tablets, etc can be left plugged all the time. The original chargers for these devices don't determine when the device is charged the device does.

Q: Est-ce que je peux utiliser le connecteur 12 volt femelle de ce panneau pour recharger mon bloc d'alimentation eliminator par le port de charge? Danger de surcharge? Combien de temps pour charge complète?

Translate with Google
1 Answer
