Q: How is the shelf attached to the wall? I need to know how sturdy this product is and how much weight it can hold. Is there metal posts or just screws?

A: This Décor Ledge (not shelf) is designed for its decorative elements, not necessarily its weight capacity. It is rated to hold up to weight capacity of 4.5 kgs. The ledge itself has a recessed hollow in the back of it and anchors to the wall using a “host board” or “cleat” ( included) . The ledge then “nests” over this Cleat and is secured with 2 inset screws ( included ) from the top.
