    Love the 3year warranty

Grabbed this pump on sale and so far so good. Well built and was a simple swap out. Never new it came with a three year warranty until arrived at the store to pick it up. I buy all my pumps at CT as whenever Ive had issues its a simple exchange.

So far so good. It pumps well, is quiet and was easy to install but hasn't been in use long enough to judge reliability.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Only lasted 3 mths

Bought this pump 3 months ago and had to replace it already. The pump that it replaced was 6 or 7 years old before it gave any problems. Maybe we got a lemon but it sure is a disappointment to find sewer water on and under the basement floor when the tank overflows because this pump failed. Beware because the pump is built overseas not Canadian or US. Hope you have better luck than I did!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Well, after 4 years, it finally went kaput and shorted out. Kind of a pain, as its barried in a pump chamber in the back yard... Did its job well for the four years though. @ $300 its kinda exspesive to replace every couple of years :o(

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Loud? When it shuts off it rattles the pipes which is quite loud, ie. It shakes the pipes........It is actually louder on the floor directly above...........Loud enough to wake me up....Is this normal?

    • A: Regarding- water hammer problem. My recommendation is that the customer should install a second check valve on top just before the discharge elbow. That should stop the sewage from running back down the pipe and making that noise or as you said if he doesn't want to buy another check valve. I would put the one he has now on top before the elbow but to do a better job a second valve would be ideal. This is why he’s getting a loud noise is that when the pump shut off the running water runs down the bottom and makes a noise. This would eliminate that problem

Q: Ok for pond water pumping? Looking for a pump for using our pond water as irrigation...so would a sewage pump like this one be appropriate to handle particles/silt in water?

    1 Answer
    • A: This pump is not designed for irrigation purpose. Unless for commercial and industrial applications, irrigation is done using a jet pump connected to a garden hose with a filter at the suction to eliminate debris. Irrigation needs high pressure while a sewage pump is high flow but low pressure. For commercial and industrial applications, specialty pumps are existing for this particular need.

Q: Where do I get a new float switch for #62-3527-2 pump

    1 Answer
    • A: If the product fails within the warranty you can return it to the store, with your receipt for warranty exchange. If it’s outside of the warranty you can purchase one of these float switches (062-3516 or 062-3517) that will work with this pump.
