Height of tree

Full-sized artificial Christmas trees generally range in height from 6 to 12-ft tall. If you are planning to include a tree topper, make sure to add the height of that decoration into your calculations.

Base diameter of tree

You also need to take the base diameter into account. There are options ranging from 23 to 84-in around. If you’re looking for a small space model, consider a half tree, which sits flush against a wall, or a specially designed slim Christmas tree.

Type of tree

When choosing a Christmas tree, it's important to consider the size of your space. For larger rooms, a full-size tree is a great way to make a statement. If space is tight consider a half tree that sits flush against a wall, a slim pencil tree or a potted tree.

Lifelike trees

Tips

A tree's tip count represents the actual number of branch tips it has and can range from 600 to 4,600, depending on the size of the tree. The higher the tip count, the fuller the tree will appear. If you have a large ornament collection, more tips will allow you to better display all your favourites.
