Does a great job of preparing the rusty metal for painting with POR 15 glossy paint. Coverage is about the same as the same volume of paint.

Fallow the instructions and wat h it work. This product does what it advertises. I recommended this product to prep old metal for refinishing. Especially old vehicles!

Q: Would this be ok to use rust coat or equivalent over this product?

A: I used this on my 71 Roadrunner. You have to rinse it well after use which seems like something you shouldn't do to bare steel but you have to. Then i used por15 as a rust proofing top coat. Hope this helps
