Definitely the best option

I bought this product to polish my headlights. It worked very well. The best option is to polish the body or headlights. Its best feature is that it is thick or doughy, which makes it very comfortable and high quality.Definitely the best option.

Maybe not the right product

I bought this as a first try to deal with some clear coat that's gone hazy, but I have to think it's not the correct product for the problem. It improved the texture a lot (much smoother) but really it's just as hazy as it was before. On to the more labour-intensive solutions now I expect.

Questions

1 - 4 of 4 Questions

Q: Will this product blend/disguise small vehicle door chips

1 Answer
  • A: Using the product “as is”, unfortunately, the answer is no. The polishing compound is designed for minimizing or removing scratches in the paint clear-coat layer. This product will not “fill-in” or blend paint chips. However, the paint chips can be remediated with touch-up paint first that matches the paint color of the automobile. Once the chip is filled-in with paint and allowed to cure, it can be blended in with the polishing compound and then protected with a coating of wax.

Q: Is this product (Turtle Wax Polisher) suitable for polishing a table top which has been finished with Tung oil?

1 Answer
  • A: With Tung oil being used I assume this table is un-painted natural wood. If this is the case, no, do not use the polishing compound. That type of surface will require products designed for wood/furniture refinishing. The Polishing Compound is not to be used on porous surfaces and/or non-painted surfaces.

Q: Can we use the turtle wax polisher on a shuffle board table top

1 Answer
  • A: Before recommending any type of cleaner or polish, we need to understand what the shuffle board surface is made out of. If the game top has a clear plastic overlay of surface cover, yes, a light duty polish or a cleaner wax like Super Hard Shell Liquid or Paste will remove minor imperfections and restore the clear plastic’s clarity and hide deeper scratches. To advise the surface will become slick and slippery. If the surface of the game board is a printed graphic with no top plastic shield or cover wew ould not recommend use of polish of any kind for fear of removing the graphics. Only surfaces that are highly reflective and smooth can be polished with car care products. You would start first to see if a light duty multi-surface cleaner will work on a small area. If the surface darkens or it becomes wet and absorbs water, then cleaning should not be attempted. If the surface is water resistant and graphics are unaffected , test a small area next with a liquid wax to see if it will restore the surface and slowly work to more aggressive cleaners / polishes if needed, always testing as you go.
