Solar path lights

These lights are great . Just stick them where needed and voila , you have light . You have to twist the top off to turn them off but that's it. They make walking my dogs around the house at night much easier, and if you have plants nearby , they love them as well.

A: They have a pull tab for the battery engagement and there is an on/off switch on the under-side of the solar head.

Q: Hi, Im not clear how to turn these on. I bought the solar kind, there were no instructions with them. In any case, they are not emitting any light.

A: The lens should twist off - you'll see the tabs if you turn the light upside down. Inside is an on/off switch - they're shipped in the off position. Switch to "on" and replace lens. They will charge fully within a few hours.

Q: What are the instructions for inserting these properly into the ground?

A: Just attach the stake with the pointy side facing down. Wait until it rains or water the area so the ground is soft. If the ground is soft, you can just push the stake and light into the ground.

Q: Does the on-off switch have to be in the ON position in order to for them to charge? If I leave them for a weekend to charge (and save the battery) by keeping the lights in the OFF position, will that work?

A: I have them out for over a year and they light up each night . Once on I do not turn them off. May not last the whole night after a cloudy day, but its the outside light I have and I am happy with them.

Q: I bought 6 of these and not one of them is working. Is there a pull tab or something that I am supposed to do to get them started? They do have their batteries and I didn’t see a pull tab. Any ideas? They have been out in bright sunlight for several days.
