Remote Starter

Wife bought for Christmas, requires separate interface module. Tried to get installed at canadian tire auto centre. They refused. Said they don't service these any more. Waste of time and money.

The fob is it's worst downfall

Nearly have to break a nail to get the start button to work. Comes with only one fob. Have lost the fob and Canadian Tire doesn't have any spares in stock that work with the unit I have installed. They will not deliver from a different store to my location. I have spent a small fortune for a remote starter I can't use.

A: I believe this unit will work in your vehicle but best to to have a professional install this unit except you have prior experience with installations. There are units in the market that are near plug and play or that come with instructions the average DIYer can install. Not this unit. Best to have a pro do it.

A: It does but it doesn’t matter. There is 1 company now producing remotes worldwide. Production is shut down for the foreseeable future because of the chip shortage. They are difficult to find now.
