I bought this light for our bedroom, looks great, lots of light and great price especially when on sale. We have had so many compliments on it.

I bought this light when it went on sale at about half price, and in the store I viewed it hanging in the lighting department, where it was about 6 or 7 feet above my head. It looks lovely. When I got it home, I found out that it is not all glass as I had assumed. The only glass parts are the bowls and the centre piece, the rest is plastic including the tear drops etc. Nevertheless, it looks lovely when lit up and no one notices that it is mostly plastic. If you are putting this in a room, as I did, measure the height of your ceiling first because this light hangs down quite far and it is fine for me, with 8 foot ceilings and I'm 5 ft. 8 inches tall, but anyone 6 feet or over will hit their head on it, and this is with only one link of chain installed. A number of the tear drops and round drops were chipped and had minor cracks, which was disappointing but I bought it on sale for half price so I can overlook it. Again, no one sees the chips. It's too bad the quality control wasn't a bit better though, there is no reason for the drops to be chipped and cracked in a brand new item. Once lit, this lamp looks like one much more costly. The drops and "crystal chains" do not have hooks on them to attach them, they have key-ring type round things which are a bit tricky to get them open and onto the ring while standing on a stool. Simple hooks would have been better. And yes, I agree with the other reviewer, it is suggested that you read the instructions and the coding on each bag of drops and where they go on the light.

I purchased this as I was updating the decor in my young daughter's bedroom. It was easy to assemble and install, although I would recommend reading the instructions for how to put the crystals in place. Very pretty looking for a little girl!
