Covered well

Used the spray paint for a treasure chest for the school play. Working with combination of plastic and cardboard. Covered both well. Was able to add latex paint with brushes over top adding details and textures without issues

Q: It bonds to "Most Plastic's", are there some you can say for sure work, or don't work? I have some smooth hard plastic toys I've painted with the RustOleum brand camo paint, and I've found on the really smooth plastic you can scratch the paint off with your finger nail.

A: Krylon can adhere to MANY hard to bond surfaces INCLUDING plastic. Some of them are listed below, please take note to properly follow directions on the can including average full cure time which is 7 days. As always, when in doubt TEST FIRST. The Krylon Fusion has been tested on the following materials successfully: Montell Astryn (YFBR712-G03053), GE Noryl Nylon (EM 7100-111), GE Noryl Nylon (N190x-701), GE Cycolac ABS (L-1000), Sovay TPO (D161B), GE Lexan Polycarbonate (LSI-111), Dow Magnum PC/ABS (344), Dow Styron Polystyrene (478), Bayer Bayblend ABS (FR110-1000), ATC Zuca TPO (ATX832B), Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Montell TPO (SB-823),TPO (DS 880-1), Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Cold Rolled Steel, Ceramic, Bakelite, Artificial Grass, Aluminum, Masonry, and Glass. These tests were performed in accordance with ASTM D3359 - Cross-hatched Tape Adhesion Test. This cross hatch adhesion test is an industry standard, therefore can be duplicated by others. This testing ensures that the product performs as expected.

Q: do you just spray it on and you get a multi-colour camoflage?

A: Krylon camouflage paint does not spray out of the can in a multicolored camouflage pattern. Krylon Camouflage paint comes in a variety of colors(Black, Khaki,Brown and Olive Drab) that can be combined to create a camouflage look. We have stencils complete with a how-to available on our website that can be used to create the camouflage effect.
