Didn’t perform as expected

Sprayed on under side of lawn mower deck to stop grass from sticking. Wore off on the first use, maybe I did something wrong but it didn’t stay on the deck.

Jig-a-loo did it for me!!

I had the bright idea that spray graphite might make my new mower deck resistant to grass build-up, and I was right! Very satisfied with results.

Questions

1 - 9 of 9 Questions

Q: Are these universal? I want to lube my skateboard, are these suitable?

  • A: The graphite would not be suitable. The Jigaloo Orange (multi-purpose all-around lubricant) would be a better product for the bearings on your wheels.

Q: Can it be stored at below zero, as in an unheated garage I winter?

Q: can this be used UNDER the walking part of a treadmill belt? to keep it moving easier?

1 Answer
  • A: Thank you for your question. Graphite Extreme lubricant can be used on all of the moving parts of your treadmill, except on top of the walking part of the treadmill. Use of any lubricant on the parts where you walk can cause a slip hazard and be dangerous. While Graphite Extreme lubricant is an excellant lubricant, it does come out as a black powder, that until it dries can be transferred by contact. If you use graphite please be careful not to overspray on items that you do not want stained black, and allow it to dry completely before using the treadmill A good alternative to Graphite Extreme is our Jig-A-Loo Orange All around Invisible lubricant. Thank you

Q: Can it be used for lubricating inside the cylinder with teflon-coated walls of an oil-less air compressor?

1 Answer
  • A: Jigaloo Graphite will leave a residue of black graphite powder, therefore it would not be recommended for cyclanders. The Jigaloo Orange (CTC # 38-1551) which is dry silicon lubricant would be best suited. JigalooJacq

Q: which dry lube product would be best for my car's power window tracks?

1 Answer
  • A: The Jigaloo Orange (CTC # 38-1551) all-around silicon dry lubricant would be ideal for the car window wells. Use the straw to facilitate the application, and be careful to not overspray. Note, if used in winter this will prevent the windows from freezing shut. DO NOT USE EXTREME GRAPHITE as this product is composed of black graphite powder which will adhere to the window or other surfaces that it is applied to. Should be used in locks or open gear mechanisms.

Q: What's the easiest way to remove this product from paint/wall? I over sprayed and got part of a painted wall. What's the easiest way to remove this product?

1 Answer
  • A: Graphite lubricants are designed to adhere securely to the surfaces applied to, rendering it difficult to remove. You may want try one of the following: Using an eraser to erase the graphite. Using baby wipes. Use of an abrasive cleaner such as Ajax or Comet. Apply a car polish or paste wax, and rub off with a clean rag.
