Better to buy an expensive one. The reading goes on flickering even if it is not connected with any power source. Misleading readings.

Hi, thank you for your feedback.
What you're seeing is normal behavior for a digital multimeter when the test leads are connected but not probing a circuit. In this state, the meter may display a fluctuating or residual voltage due to environmental electrical noise or internal high impedance. This is not a fault with the meter—it's simply a result of the tool being extremely sensitive to voltage when no complete circuit is present.
To confirm the meter is working correctly, you can touch the red and black leads together (with the leads connected to the VΩ and COM ports). The display should read 0 volts, verifying proper function.

Q: Will it work for testing the capacitors on tv and computer monitors?

A: Thank you for you inquiry. Our multimeter will test capacitors on TV and computer monitors but I would recommended to look at the specification on the capacitor of the TV and computer. Then compare it to the specification of our multimeter to see if it’s in the same range.
