Q: I have posted a question a few days ago and I have not received an answer yet. The guestion was could I put 17 inch rims and tires on a 19 inch 2013 Journey Crew. I have ordered 225/65R17 Nordic Winter Tires. The Journey has 225/55R19 Touring all season tires. Many thanks My name is Hopsing
10 years agoA: Not recommended because of 7% tire size difference. Should not be more than 3%, you should be using 18 inch tire or 65 profile. Good luck.

4 years agoA: The air pressure will depend on your vehicle. Check manual or door jamb for values. On my Audi A4 I keep them at 30 to 32 psi max.

Q: when you buy your tires at canadian tire does it include installation
10 years agoA: If I were someone without tools and the mechanical knowledge I would probably get them to install them for me, but I can save myself some cash and do all of the work myself with the proper tools and safety equipment at my house. (e.g. jack & posts, torque wrench)

Q: Correct tire pressure for 225/65R17 Nordic Winter My van looks for 36 ppi for these tires and the tire light goes on when pressure is lower. New tires just put on and all 4 are at 30 ppi and the dash light is on now. Can I increase the tire pressure up to the 36 ppi ?
11 years agoA: When you open your door on the inside of the door it will show your manufacturers recommended inflation pressure and the size of your recommended tire. If your manufacturer recommends 36 psi yes you can safely run that pressure and your light will go out. The only time you would be concerned about increasing pressure up to manufacturers spec is when you have the incorrect tire for the vehicle for example your tire is rated at 55 psi MAX but manufacturer recommends 80psi. Your tire can safely be inflated to 36psi. Happy driving.
