It's equipped with a large 2-1/2" (6.3 cm) dial face for effortless reading, with dual-calibrated, colour-coded scales to ensure accuracy in your measurements. Q: The quick connect fittings appear non-standard. Can I replace them for quick connect air fittings like the type M?

A: M-type fittings are not recommended for this unit because the pressure rating for M-type fittings exceeds what this compression tester was designed for. This kit has the most common threaded adaptors for spark plug sockets and should not require any modifications.

It has a 15-in high-pressure rubber hose which is oil and grease resistant, a side-release valve which allows repeated tests without disconnecting the hose, and 14mm and 18mm adapters that fit most vehicles.
