Q: The quick connect fittings appear non-standard. Can I replace them for quick connect air fittings like the type M?

A: M-type fittings are not recommended for this unit because the pressure rating for M-type fittings exceeds what this compression tester was designed for. This kit has the most common threaded adaptors for spark plug sockets and should not require any modifications.
