It broke on first use

I bought this for the winter in case of stuck car needing assistance. Today I opened the package and tried to use it to help a delivery truck that had gotten stuck in ditch. Maybe it was more than 9000lbs of weight (it was a small delivery van) or maybe because I put the hook around the strap, but it broke right where hook attaches to strap on the first attempt. Anyway, lesson learned to use only on a car and not to fold hook back around the strap (instructions would have been nice if that’s the issue), so I guess 2 stars for my ignorance rather than 1.

No, I do not recommend this product.
