Paintballing is a fun social game that lets you get in touch with your competitive side and practice teamwork and strategy. It can also be played indoors or outdoors. Paintballing is great if you’re looking for a new adrenaline activity that gets you moving, thinking and above all, having a blast.

What gear do I need to play paintball?

Some essential gear you need to play paintball includes goggles, a harness, vest or pod pack, hoppers, paintball guns, and cartridges.

What should I look for when buying a paintball gun?

Before you buy a new paintball gun, you’ll want to consider the following:

- How often are you going to play?

- How much do you want to invest in gear?

- Do you want a low-end or medium-range gun?

- What kind of paintball are you planning to play?

Once you’ve worked out the usage for your paintball gun, then you can decide on the best type for you. A few key features to look out for when buying a paintball gun include hoppers, co2 cartridges, handguards, whether it’s automatic or semi-automatic, safety-barrel blocker, bolt system and a gun that offers easy maintenance.

What should I wear when playing paintball?

The key tip to remember when gearing up for playing paintball is that more layers offer more protection. You should be prepped with the following gear and apparel:

- Wear goggles that cover your full face

- A baseball cap or scarf for hair and head protection

- Long pants that you can easily move around in (cargo pants are recommended)

- Long sleeve t-shirt and sweatshirt or jersey over top

- Running shoes or hiking boots

Fingerless gloves for trigger control
