Bad design to hold lid on when open
a year ago
I’ve owned this for years and should have returned it or thrown away a long time ago. The two straps that hold the lid on are useless. They don’t stay attached so the whole lid flys off. It is a really bad design.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Little disappointed

I just received and assembled. Fairly easy to assemble. Seems sturdy, but have two issues. One, there are small gaps on the sides at the bottom and two, the lid does not align with the hole to put a lock through it. Rating would have been higher if not for these two issues.

Great box but instructions are not clear at all.

The box is great but instructions are not clear at all. They tell you tabs need to be removed but are not clear on the tabs and even the photo of the tabs is not fully clear. The tabs are the ones that the top pieces need to snap into. Once removed it was easy to assemble. However they also tell you tools you need and tell you screw driver, hammer, block of wood, but do not tell you what the block of wood is for. The wood is used to bang the pieces in from the top till they snap in. I was able to use my weight and get the items to snap in. I am giving a 4 out of 5 rating as I feel the pieces should have been snapped out already and the instructions should have been much more clear. I am sure I will get many years of use out of this product.

Cheaply made. Don't waste your money.

Terrible choice. Because it was Rubbermaid, I assumed this would be a good, sturdy product to hold my pool floats. I was sorely mistaken. I was apprehensive when putting it together. It seemed flimsy particularly, the lid assembly. It was secured by 2 very flimsy plastic straps, and the hinge assembly at the back was wobbly. Less than weeks later, my concerns were confirmed. There was a rain storm and the lid blew back with a small gust of wind (not large enough to topple my market umbrella), snapping the cheap plastic "hinges" and almost ripping the top completely off. I am very disappointed. It looks decent, but I wish I could give a negative star for quality.

Great Deck Box

Great product, Bought it 4 months ago as storage box in my marina, but due to the high winds I have lost the left side panel, how can I get it on a RUSH basis since now I have an open side. Willing to pay for it. Any contact phone # or email ....??
