Efficace pour petit travaux. Arbre de moins de 12 pouces. J'ai brulé la mienne avec des troncs de 14 pouces. Donc ne fait pas forcer le moteur. De plus, la distribution d'huile est mal situé, il y'a facilement un accumulation d'huile de de copeau en dessous du couvercle, ce qui demande un démontage et nettoyage régulier. La tention de la chaine se fait avec un engrenage en plastique et les dents de l'engrenage s'effrite rapidement. Pour ma part, je préfère de loins et scie à chaine électrique pour l'aspect "silencieux" et j'utilise une génératrice en forêt.

Perfect little tool - saved me bunches of cash!

Bought this to remove a fallen tree. Estimates to remove the tree ranged from $700 to $1600 to remove.
This with combination of a Ryobi pole saw, and a couple hours of elbow grease, took down the huge tree, and cut into chunks of free firewood for neighbours!
The unit was on sale for $20 off too!
Unit is light enough, was able to use while on ladder.
On the ground it was sufficient to cut the trunk portions which was around 20 inch in diameter.

A: Sans rancune, mais généralement c'est le travail du commis du saisonnier! Quand je me suis procuré la mienne il n'y avait que de l'huile à moteur 2 temps... pas d'huile à chaîne... Pour un outil électrique, c'est super pratique de l'huile à moteur 2 temps ! Puis J'ai trouvé un commis qui en a cherché un autre et, ensemble ils ont fini par trouver l'huile à chaîne.

A: I use used motor oil in my chainsaws, an old Mac and a Remington electric. It uses more but it's free at the garage.

A: for a 50' 16 gauge.100' long cord 14 gauge is recommended.150' would need 12 gauge. the heavier cable you can use the better.

Q: Does the Poland electric chain saw come with a battery? The item particulars does not mention anything about it.

A: The Poulan electric chainsaw (054-5705) does not come with a battery as it is an electric, corded chainsaw. If you are looking for a cordless chainsaw Canadian Tire also sells a Yardworks 20V 10” Cordless chainsaw (054-5711) and a 20V cordless chainsaw polesaw (054-5701). For either of these products you will also need to purchase a 20V battery as it is not included - either 060-2181 or 060-2295 will work with either of the two above mentioned Yardworks models.

Q: I have added oil but the chain is not getting lubricated and the oil is pouring out the bottom. Am I missing a step?

A: I have the same issue... I think this is normal and that it is getting oiled. I know it uses alot of oil but it has never failed me yet.

Q: Which chain should I purchase? I bought a Yardwork's chainsaw 2 years ago but forgot its product no. The chain bar shows "16 91-56 8E" and the machine shows "054-5703-0" as attached picz. Please reply me which chain I should purchase, tks.

Q: which is right chain?! answers to 6th & 9th ?s above do not match re correct chain replacement! which is correct already, i am getting fed up and on verge of returning saw (chain stretched rather quickly, why replacement needed) are there multiple replacements possible?
