The product really works well. Sprayed a golf bag, material and leather. Very waterproof and cleans easily with a damp cloth.

Q: Can I use this spray effectively in temperature around temperatures of 0-5 Degrees C? I don't want to have to spray this inside, but really need something waterproofed- would it still be effective if sprayed at lower temperatures? I read on the can that it should only be applied at temperatures above 7 degrees.

  • A: I wouldn't recommend you do it indoors, you need a really well ventilated area. Perhaps a garage with the door wide open would work. If it's colder, it will take much longer to dry.

Q: The instructions say to spray on both sides. Does this mean both the fly and the tent (outside only) or the inside and outside of the tent?

1 Answer
  • A: We sprayed both sides..let it air out in the yard for about a week and it held up pretty well!

Q: Is this the best product to ues to make kayak covers waterproof? They were fine for a few years but now leak.

1 Answer
  • A: Thank you for the inquiry. This product offers a layer of water repellency to the surface of tarps. However, depending on the age and condition of the over, and how porous the material or if there are larger holes, then you might not get complete waterproofing. Your should check the manufacturer's instructions on the care, cleaning and adding extra protection to the cover. As this product is solvent based, it can affect covers that have been pre-treated with another material. We always recommend testing on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure you are satisfied with the results.

Q: can this be used on olefin patio cushions as a waterproofing without discoloring the fabric?

1 Answer
  • A: Thank you for the inquiry. This product is a solvent based water repellent spray. As such, we are not certain how it would preform on an olefin cushion. We would recommend reviewing the manufacturer's instructions with regards to care, cleaning and adding additional production to their cushions. If you are planning to try, we always recommend trying is a small inconspicuous area first the ensure you are satisfied with the results.

Q: Can this be used on rain jacket

1 Answer
  • A: Thank you for the enquiry. For a jacket, especially a lighter colour, we generally recommend the Woods Instant Waterproofing Spray or the Woods Nano Protector Spray. All these sprays will help repel water.

Q: Hi Can this waterproof spray be used safely on a baby stroller canopy (made out of Polyester)? Is your spray also a dirt repellant (as the baby canopy is white)? Thx

1 Answer
  • A: No, it’s not a dirt repellant. This is the correct spray for the material, however it is a chemical based repellant. It’s not designed to be used with infant products.

Q: Does this stain white fabrics? I have a white Boreas Tiago tent made of 20-denier nylon ripstop with a silicone and polyurethane coating. Will this product damage the material in any way, including staining it yellow? Thank you!

1 Answer
  • A: Thank you for your enquiry. As there is already a coating on the material, you will need to check with the tent manufacturer's recommendations with regards to applying any additional product or protection to their material. As far as the colour goes, our spray should not stain a white material yellow. However, you should always test first on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure you are satisfied with the final result.
