Weak Product

I bought this two weeks ago on sale for about $65. It says its weight capacity is 250lbs. This is a joke. I weigh 163lbs just got off the scale and in one two night trip the leg cracked and broke. I also lost one off the rubber ends on the leg. On further inspection it all made sense. I've seen better quality ones like the alite mantis (which was my replacement) - double the price though. But their legs have a longer insert piece and much beefier. The woods brand is short and the aluminum just cracks and bends until enough pressure just breaks the leg. I wouldn't ever consider this product again nor recommend it useless you like arguing with Canadian Tire Customer Service over their unless warranty policy. Took me three people then a manager to get a refund because I didn't keep my receipt. FYI only Canadian Tire and affiliates carry woods brand!!! Pretty easy to prove you bought it there. Check out the picture of this garbage.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Light, strong and comfy

I got 2 of these chairs on sale... they are super comfortable and feel sturdy. The only negative I find about these chairs, or at least one of them (maybe it's defective?), is that it is difficult to pull the fabric part onto the poles. I understand the fabric part is purposely made smaller than the frame so that once it's put in place, it is stretched taut. I recommend trying to assemble it at the store first before buying, so that you know you can actually put the chair together.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great-- but a DIY add-on turns it to a super buy!

Great chair, small size, compact storage, comfortable and low. Like another reviewer, I found the feet a little small for soft ground. I opted to buy a set of rubber feet 7/8" item 046-0975-2 from Canadian Tire for cheap. They fit right over top the existing feet on the chair and provide a more stable footing. Win! Also, other reviewer who commented that a clip or strap would be nice to keep the carrying case from blowing away in the wind. I just slid the carrying case loops through the uppers arms of the chair *BEFORE* I put the chair on-- simple! And now it doubles as a pouch or pocket for my valuables, bottle, food, etc. while I'm relaxing. See photos for how it looks with simple cheap modifications. Overall, its a good buy for beach, camping, tailgate, park, festivals, long lineups, etc. :)

Yes, I recommend this product.

  • Add-on feet for chair
  • Chair with carrying pouch "attached."

Just don't lose the pouch!

With practise everything folds up and stores in the included pouch. Wish the pouch was connected to the chair fabric so an itinerant gust of wind doesn't blow it into the lake!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Lite and Strong

The chair is light and easy to set up, the carry bag is a great way to keep it secure when packed away. The only trouble i see with the item is that if you are of the taller stature the chair is quite low to the ground so makes it a little difficult to get up out of.

Yes, I recommend this product.
