Very good quality rubber shims

I recently purchased a bathtub, safety rail for my mother. Due to the shape of the tub, I needed rubber shims to allow the rail to clamp the tub more securely. This product comes in various sizes and thickness, and I was able to find the right one for the job. It’s made up a very dense type of rubber with ridges, which allows it to grip against flat surfaces.

Q: How much weight can these support before they compress thinner?

A: I put one at each end of my long bedroom dresser which is approx 5 feet long by 3 feet wide… 7 drawers & believe me it’s fully loaded. I would guess it’s 60 pounds and they are holding up quite well. They don’t look squeezed at all. It’s more to level the dresser to lean back towards the wall. Hope that helps. FYI I use them for all kinds of stuff, you can cut them to make your doors fit snugly for instance.

Q: Are the wobble shims made of flexible rubber or hard plastic. I'm trying to replace the rubber ones I have now - but can't find. Mine is also black with ribs. This display does not say the material. If these are not flexible rubber, can you suggest or order? Thx, Frank
