Lid is impossible

Great wheels and large handle, but the lid is impossible to get on and off. I bought in winter and when the can is cold, the lid is so stiff that removing it and replacing it is a real struggle. Also the lid doesn't latch in any way so is removable by racoons etc.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Old version? Lid tightness was comforting, but squirrel ate it

I had this for years and the kid is indeed hard to get on and off, but it was a comfort to know raccoons wouldn't be able to! A squirrel actually chewed through the lid on two different places!! It's very hard and thick plastic so they were very motivated. They had also chewed through our window screens many times and once I found them on my counter chewing through a tupperware holding nuts.. Regardless, once the squirrel problem was solved, I put duct tape over the holes in order to keep flies out, land only had to replace it every 6 months or so.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Hard to Remove Lid

As some other reviewers stated, the lid fits on very tightly - which is great to keep animals out. However I can never get the lid off to put garbage in the can - which the entire purpose of the can, so it is basically useless. I can't say whether or not the handles or wheels will last, as we've only used this can once in the 2 years we've had it.

Cheaply made

First garbage day after purchase the handle broke off and went right into the back of the garbage truck. After reading the other reviews I’m waiting for the wheels to pop off next. very top heavy when full. It’s supposed to have a locking lid, but the Raccoons have no issues knocking it over and taking the lid off. Only nice thing about this garbage can Is the size. Everything else is c r a p.
No, I do not recommend this product.
