Purchased two of these Ove gloves as a gift to a visiting relative from England. She loved mine which have had for many years. These are the best! Most oven mitts are so big and bulky, they make it hard to handle hot pots and dishes. Not the Ove gloves! I have never had a problem handling anything hot with the Ove gloves. I started with one, but soon bought another as so much easier to handle things with two gloves. They are a bit pricey, but I have had mine for more than 10 years and still is great shape, so definitely worth the cost. I have also given my sister-in-law a pair and she also loves them! So take a chance and start with one and I am sure you will soon get another!

Good but you still have to be fast!

Much better than standard oven mitts but you still have to be fast when removing something from the oven that is a very high temperature. They are too large for my hands but better than my original ove gloves which were at least 20 years-old. Should come in packages of 2 rather than 1; who uses 1 hand to remove something from the oven?
