Q: How to put on training wheels

    1 Answer
    • A: To assemble and attach training wheels: ▪ Insert training wheel axle bolt into wheel, through bracket then tighten with nut. ▪ Align through the wheel axle in order: the non-rotating bracket, training wheel bracket, nut washer and the attachment nut. ▪ Repeat above steps for the second training wheel. see manual that came with bike for detailed instructions. if you do not have a manual please contact the store where you purchased the bike and they can contact the vendor for a manual. please note: Training wheels will not allow the bike to lean on the side when turning. This characteristic increases the risk of losing balance when turning sharply. Always make sure the child does not go too fast or turn sharply when riding with training wheels.

Q: Can you move the seat forward on this bike (I.e reduce the space between the seat and handlebars)?.

    1 Answer
    • A: The handlebars have three settings (A,B,C) which allows you to adjust them easily. The 'A' setting will bring the handlebars closest to the rider (closer to the seat). This bike is designed and built for kids to simplify the experience of learning to ride. This A,B,C fitting system (on handlebars and seat) and fit-right geometry of the frame provides a tailored fit for each child. The Kickstart bike is also equipped with an anti-spin safety headset and forward-positioned pedals that help the child stay in control as well as make it easier for them to start pedaling. The Kickstart bike also comes with tool-free training wheels that can be adjusted to 3 different heights, and a removable handle that makes it very easy for parents or caregivers to hold onto for support.

Q: Can you raise the handle bars? Or can you only tilt them?

    1 Answer
    • A: Yes the handlebar height can be adjusted slightly because this is a threaded stem. It is recommended this be done by a qualified bike mechanic.
