Not Universal or for all cars
Looks great, easy to assemble, BUT not like advertised that it fits on any car and is universal. We didn’t keep ours but it was too bad because it’s really well made, looks sturdy.
That’s my one star. I can’t rate the product on its performance but I give it a one because of the false advertisement.

SportRack Roof Racks
Rack works great. Easy to install and remove. Very secure once installed. Whistles a bit while driving without my canoe/kayak/bike on it but the noise is unnoticeable when an item is on the rack. Would like it to have a locking system.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Well Made

Simple to attached with the tool supplied. Double check the length required as mine was wider than average so the end caps were tricky to attach. With no end caps you get a loud whistling noise which on a long drive will drive you bonkers....

Q: I have a 2018 Ford Escape with factory side rails. The guide only has a listing for 2017 Escape. Is Sr1099 the correct rack for a 2018 Ford Escape?

A: It seems like SR1099 rack will be too wide at 53". SR1098 is narrower. I'm worried about hitting my head on the rack if its too wide
